Remote, United Kingdom Ticketer Group Full time £40,000 - £80,000 per year

About Ticketer

Since its founding in 2009, Ticketer has grown to become the UK's leading provider of real time information, data analytics, fleet management and ticketing solutions for the UK bus and coach industry. If you've taken a bus outside of London, there's a good chance it was powered by Ticketer - from the ticket machine you used, to the software behind the scenes running the entire operation.

We pride ourselves on continually innovating for our customers and are packed with brilliant and passionate colleagues who truly care about pioneering technology and delivering outstanding customer service. And we're now entering an exciting new chapter...

As part of our ongoing growth, we're launching a new solution which supports strategic expansion into a complementary area of the transport technology ecosystem. As we roll out our go-to-market initiatives and broaden the scope of how we support authorities and operators across the UK, we're investing in additional resources to power this next phase - and that's where this role comes in.

About the Role

We're looking for a commercially minded and creatively driven Marketing Manager to help shape and deliver the go-to-market strategy for one of the most exciting growth phases in Ticketer's journey. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you'll play a key role in raising awareness of our evolving offering, supporting the launch of our new subsidiary and driving engagement across the industry.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll lead integrated marketing campaigns, craft compelling messaging across various channels and ensure consistent brand execution - all while keeping our customers at the heart of everything we do. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who enjoys autonomy, a fast-paced, innovative environment and wants to make a real difference in the future of transport technology.

This role is remote-based - however the candidate must have the ability and willingness to occasionally travel to the head office in Hungerford and other ad-hoc meetings and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Marketing in executing the go-to-market strategy, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives and that comms are disruptive and engaging.
  • Work with web designers and developers to build a new online brand presence - ensuring engaging user experience, strong visual identity and adherence to SEO best practices.
  • Develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, events and PR to drive awareness and engagement.
  • Create compelling content and messaging tailored to various audiences, from operators and industry stakeholders to internal teams and partners.
  • Support brand development and consistency, ensuring all communications reflect Ticketer's values, tone, and positioning.
  • Work closely with the Commercial, Product and Development teams to align marketing efforts with business timings and priorities.
  • Monitor campaign performance and marketing KPIs, providing regular insights and recommendations for optimisation.
  • Manage the marketing budget for assigned initiatives, ensuring efficient use of resources and ROI.
  • Identify and capitalise on industry trends, events, and PR opportunities to strengthen Ticketer's market position.
  • Champion customer insight, using feedback and data to inform messaging, campaigns and product positioning.
  • Monitor industry updates and competitor retaliation, sharing findings with the wider business.

You will be someone with, or is:

  • 5+ years of Marketing Manager experience, ideally in a B2B or tech-focused environment, with a proven track record of planning and delivering successful campaigns.
  • Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new products or services.
  • Hands-on experience with website projects, including working with designers and developers to build or refresh websites; a strong grasp of UX principles, SEO best practices, and CMS platforms.
  • WordPress experience and skills.
  • Strong skills in content creation and messaging, with the ability to adapt tone and language to different audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-channel campaigns across digital, social, email, events and PR.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and collaborating with senior stakeholders and various teams.
  • Data-driven mindset, with experience measuring campaign performance and using insights from Google Analytics to improve results.
  • Ability to manage budgets, timelines and external partners or agencies effectively.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

And why join us?

  • You'll be joining a business that's leading digital transformation within the transport sector.
  • Our culture is built around wellbeing and support. You will have access to Private Health Insurance, Mental Health Support, and an annual wellbeing allowance to spend on what matters most to you. We also provide financial protection, including income protection and life insurance, for added peace of mind.
  • You'll enjoy 25 days of annual leave (which increases with service), three half-day Summer Fridays, and your birthday off to celebrate.
  • We offer a remote working environment that empowers you to do your best work – wherever that may (as long as it's UK- based)
  • And that's not all – we have a few more great benefits we can't wait to share with you
