About the Role

We are seeking a remote, UK-based Brand Marketing & Events Specialist to support Chinese brands entering the UK and European markets.

This role focuses on:

• Local brand marketing strategy
• Story-driven content creation
• Occasional offline event execution
• Community engagement targeting UK-based Chinese audiences

You'll work with premium brands in lifestyle, fragrance, hospitality, real estate, and international expansion—transforming cross-border brands into truly local ones.

This is a part-time / flexible / project-based role, not full-time.

Candidates must be physically in the UK due to occasional on-site requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Localization & Promotion

• Develop marketing strategies suitable for UK and EU audiences
• Execute content and communication that resonate with UK-based Chinese consumers and local premium buyers
• Understand Western consumption scenarios, aesthetics, and brand positioning

2. Offline Event Support (Occasional)

• Assist or manage pop-ups, fragrance experiences, showroom events, brand activations, hospitality collaborations, exhibitions
• Coordinate venues, vendors, partners, influencers and guest lists
• Provide post-event feedback or simple reporting when needed
• Offline participation is occasional; most work remains remote.

3. Digital & Content Marketing

• Produce high-quality, narrative-style video content (not template/AI-looking)
• Platforms include: Xiaohongshu, TikTok, Instagram
• Highlight craftsmanship, premium aesthetics, materials, maker philosophy
• Support influencer/KOL collaborations targeting UK-resident buyers

4. Client Communication & Execution

• Translate brand objectives into actionable tasks
• Communicate clearly with Chinese brand teams and local partners
• Offer recommendations, insights, and market feedback

Qualifications

• Must currently reside in the UK
• Mandarin fluency + business-level English
• Experience in at least one of the following:
• Brand marketing
• Event execution
• Content creation / video production
• Overseas marketing or agency coordination
• Able to execute independently and manage time well
• Able to shoot videos (phone or camera acceptable)

Preferred Experience

• Hospitality / Hotel brand experience
• Real estate / commercial / luxury showroom exposure
• Fragrance / lifestyle / home ambiance brands
• Cross-border brand expansion / local community marketing
• Understanding local Chinese consumer segments in the UK
• Candidates with proven past projects or successful cases will be prioritized.

Additional Notes

• Relevant experience is required
• Successful case studies preferred
• University students are welcome, if dependable and execution-capable

• 平台如小红书/Instagram/TikTok
• 传递品牌工艺、美学、价值和定位
• 协助达人/KOL合作促进本地曝光与转化

4. 客户沟通与执行

• 将品牌需求转化为具体执行方案
• 与品牌团队、本地资源保持顺畅沟通
• 适时给出建议、反馈与本地视角

任职要求

• 必须长期居住在英国(优先伦敦)
• 中英文流利
• 至少具备以下之一经验:
• 品牌营销
• 线下活动执行
• 视频/内容制作
• 海外营销或agency协作
• 能独立完成任务并保证执行质量
• 具备视频拍摄能力(手机可)
