Tx Group have a position available for an Admin Assistant to join our head office in Salford. The Admin Assistent will be based across our Customer Service, HR and Accounts departments working in our Head Office near Salford Quays. This position is perfect for anybody who is interested in Office Administration, Human Resources, or Accounts, and preferably, already has some experience working in office administration.

The job role will be office based, Monday-Friday.

Within the office, day to day duties will involve:

  • Managing and responding to HR and Account email enquiries via a shared inbox
  • Assisting with payroll and accounts reports
  • Calculating employee mileage reimbursements
  • Calculating employee bonuses
  • Onboarding new employees and setting them up on all relevant systems
  • Sending job offer contracts to new employees
  • Adding employees to the payroll each month
  • Completing monthly audits and reports
  • Organising employee documents and personal files
  • Organising DBS checks for new employees
  • Completing leaving procedures and exit interviews
  • Recording and monitoring staff absences
  • Managing diaries and change of hours requests
  • Managing and organising own workload
  • General business admin

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate must have the following:

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs grade 4-9 (including 6 or above in maths and english) or, three A-levels or equivalent level 2/3 qualification
  • Previous HR experience is ideal but admin experience will also be considered

The ideal candidate will be confident, hard-working, passionate and ambitious person, with good interpersonal skills and great communication skills. They will be professional and courteous, friendly and approachable, capable of working independently and using their initiative to solve problems, but also a great team player.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, able to prioritise tasks effectively and will have great time management skills. They will have a good understanding of confidentiality and respect its importance within the role. They will have strong IT skills, will be motivated, flexible in their approach, welcoming of responsibility.
