Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team to help us over the festive period. This may lead to a permanent role(s) for the right candidate. This role is integral to providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests, ensuring that every visitor feels welcomed and well cared for. As a member of the Front of House team, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our establishment.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when needed.
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Assist with food preparation as required, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
  • Handle cash and card transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate billing.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
  • Support bartending activities when necessary, preparing drinks according to established recipes.
  • Assist in catering events as needed, contributing to the overall success of special occasions.

Skills

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards helping others.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience in bartending or catering would be advantageous but not essential.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills are crucial for success in this role.
