The Rose and Crown is part of The Banwell House Pub Group and a community hub full of energy. With bi weekly quiz nights, pop up kitchens, live music and delicious small plates served alongside our fabulous drinks selection.We are a small, friendly and fun team that pride ourselves on customer service.

Open Monday- Sunday serving Tapas Thursday - Saturday and Sunday roasts every Sunday.

The right candidate will need to be available weekends.

Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic Front of House Staff to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our pub, ensuring excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere for all our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the pub.
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring a high level of service.
  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
  • Be prepared to lend the occasional hand in the kitchen to support kitchen staff if needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
  • Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
