The Pantry (UK) Ltd are looking for a highly motivated and hard-working Chef Manager to join our team at Grange Primary School, Welbeck Road, South Harrow, HA2 0RY. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to grow, develop their skills, and make a meaningful impact. The role will be from Monday-Friday, 08:00am- 15:00pm.

We're happy to accommodate a suitable start date for the right candidate. Ideally, we are looking for someone to start at the beginning of October to ensure a smooth transition into the role.

The Pantry (UK) LTD is devoted to the Safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults - all posts are subject to an enhanced DBS check and checking of references.

Responsibilities-

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food preparation meets safety and quality standards.
  • Lead and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Supervise food production processes, ensuring timely service and adherence to culinary standards.
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed to support kitchen functions.
  • Uphold hospitality standards, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
  • Train and mentor team members in food safety practices and culinary techniques.

The Pantry is a safe employer and all team members are vetted before starting, needing to complete a DBS application. references will be clarified.

This is permanent role, Monday to Friday, working 35 hours per week 08:00 to 15:00, 39 weeks per year, term - time only.
