We're looking for a Business Development Manager (Heat Networks) to drive growth within our Indoor Climate Solutions (ICS) portfolio.

About the Role

As our Heat Networks BDM, you'll be the technical and market specialist driving adoption of Wavin's indoor climate and heat-network solutions.

This role blends commercial strategy with technical expertise — influencing specifications, shaping propositions, and securing long-term project wins across residential markets (new build & renovation).

You'll work closely with product management, the UK sales team, and key market stakeholders to shape the future of heat interface and network solutions.

  • Build strong relationships with developers, specifiers, consultants, and installers to drive solution-based sales.
  • Influence design and specification decisions across residential construction projects.
  • Translate market needs and customer insights into recommendations that enhance our product and solution offering.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, legislation, building regulations, and subsidy schemes.
  • Monitor competitor offerings and provide strategic market intelligence.
  • Collaborate within our global matrix organisation to align commercial and technical initiatives.

About You

  • Strong sales and business development background (outbound mindset).
  • Deep understanding of heat networks, heat interface units, and residential climate solutions.
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations, low-carbon standards, and sector legislation.
  • A solution-selling approach — not just products, but full system value.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
  • A hands-on, proactive mindset with strong planning and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a global matrix environment.
  • UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region (with occasional overnights).
