Job description:

The Altonwood Group are looking for an experienced Mechanic to be based at one of their busy proprietary golf clubs in Surrey.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repair work to all golf course and grounds equipment. This includes repairs to ride-on mowers, hand held mowers, hand held power tools, utility vehicles, buggies, trucks and trailers.

Ideally the successful applicant will have a minimum of 3 years of mechanical experience and the knowledge in the use and maintenance of all greenkeeping equipment.

They must be a trusted team player and have good time management, organisational and communication skills.

All Health and Safety matters must be adhered to protect and promote a safe working environment.

The successful applicant will report to the Head Mechanic and will liaise on a daily basis with the Group Course Manager.

A full driving licence is required.
