An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Car Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join a trusted independent German car and VAG specialist workshop in Croydon.

You'll work with a skilled team in a modern, fully equipped garage offering dealer-level diagnostics and repairs on Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Volkswagen (VAG Group) and all other makes and models — including hybrid and EV vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles
  • Work confidently on German marques and VAG Group vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Ensure all work meets manufacturer and industry standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
  • Keep up to date with the latest automotive and EV technologies

About You

  • Qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of German vehicles and VAG Group systems (advantageous)
  • Competent in diagnostics, servicing, and fault finding
  • EV/hybrid awareness or willingness to undertake training
  • Full UK driving licence essential
  • Motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented team player
