A long-established independent German car specialist in Croydon is expanding its team and is looking for a skilled, motivated Vehicle Technician to join a high-performing workshop known for precision engineering, dealer-standard diagnostics, and exceptional customer care.

If you are confident working across Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Volkswagen (VAG Group) and other leading makes — including hybrid and electric vehicles — this role offers the ideal mix of technical challenge, career growth, and consistent work.

What You'll Receive

  • Annual salary between £35,000 and £45,000, depending on experience
  • Bonus scheme and overtime available to maximise earnings
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, with a rotating Saturday schedule (no full weekends)

Your Day-to-Day Role

  • Carry out diagnostics, routine servicing, mechanical repairs, and specialist work
  • Use industry-leading diagnostic platforms for German and VAG vehicles
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance follow manufacturer standards
  • Maintain an organised, safe working environment
  • Keep up with evolving automotive, hybrid, and EV technologies

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)
  • Previous experience with German cars or VAG Group technologies is highly valued
  • Confident in diagnostics, servicing, fault finding, and repair
  • EV or hybrid knowledge beneficial (training provided if needed)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Professional, dependable, and attentive to detail
