Bicycle Mechanic

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic E-Bike Mechanic to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will hold a Cytech Level 1 qualification and have a minimum of one year's experience in bicycle repair and maintenance. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining e-bikes and traditional bicycles to ensure optimal performance and safety for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on e-bikes and standard bicycles.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and perform appropriate repairs.
• Build and assemble new bicycles and e-bikes according to manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service records and report recurring technical issues.
• Advise customers on maintenance best practices, upgrades, and parts replacement.
• Keep the workshop organized, clean, and well-stocked.
• Stay updated with the latest e-bike technologies and repair techniques.

Requirements

• Cytech Level 1 certification (minimum).
• At least one (1) year of experience in bicycle or e-bike repair.
• Strong knowledge of bicycle mechanics, tools, and workshop safety.
• Basic understanding of e-bike electrical systems and diagnostics.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused attitude with good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £12.30 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
