A rapidly scaling digital publisher is hiring a Social Media Strategist to accelerate social growth, shape video-first storytelling, and drive impact across multiple platforms.

If you're deeply immersed in TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and emerging formats and you know how to turn real stories into scroll-stopping, high-performing content—this role sits right in your wheelhouse.

The Role

You'll take ownership of social strategy across all major platforms, with a clear focus on video-led content. Working alongside editors, creators and partnerships teams, you'll guide the creation of breakthrough organic and branded content, while helping launch and shape new verticals.

Your day-to-day will centre around trend-spotting, performance optimisation, creative ideation and scaling a high-output content engine that reaches millions each month.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver social strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and emerging platforms
  • Drive audience, engagement and revenue growth across all channels
  • Build and shape a high-volume, video-first content roadmap
  • Partner with editors and creators to develop platform-native storytelling
  • Use insights, analytics and trends to optimise performance and inform decisions
  • Support the launch of new channels and content genres
  • Work with partnerships teams on creative that fuels monetisation
  • Collaborate closely with creators, talent, and internal teams to elevate output
