A leading social publisher is looking for a Senior Social Media Strategist to take charge of its multi-channel growth across LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. This is a senior role for someone with seven years or more developing high-performing content, growing large audiences, and building strategies that cut through.

You'll own the full strategy, creative direction, production workflow and performance across all social platforms, working closely with an in-house content and creative team. If you enjoy shaping narratives, spotting opportunities early and driving measurable results, this will be a strong fit.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing and owning the full social strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Producing content calendars, formats and storytelling approaches that drive growth and engagement
  • Leading ideation, scripting and production oversight for short-form and long-form content
  • Working with videographers, editors and copywriters to deliver polished, on-brand output
  • Reviewing performance, running tests and sharing insights that guide future strategy
  • Managing reactive opportunities and keeping content aligned with platform trends
  • Working with PR, creative, events and wider teams to connect campaigns and content

MAIN REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years managing social media for a high-growth brand, media publisher or digital-first organisation
  • Strong track record building and scaling social channels, especially TikTok and Instagram
  • Skilled in short-form storytelling, scripting, editing direction and platform optimisation
  • Comfortable managing a busy pipeline across multiple channels each week
  • Strong analytical ability and confident using platform insights to drive decisions
  • Excellent creative judgement around hooks, pacing, tone and narrative
  • Highly organised, calm under pressure and able to lead at senior level
