About the role

We're looking for a dynamic, ideas-driven Social Media Strategist to join our growing

team.

You'll plan and deliver social-first strategies and content for Cultureshock and our

clients. Blending creativity with strategic thinking to make brands culturally relevant

and socially engaging.

The ideal candidate will be confident in crafting copy, managing content calendars

and overseeing asset production and always tuned into trends, formats and what's

next.

Responsibilities include

  • Develop and deliver social media strategies and content calendars
  • Write and edit engaging copy and captions for multiple platforms
  • Repurpose long-form editorial into social-ready content
  • Brief and manage creative assets including video, carousels and stories
  • Monitor analytics and optimise campaigns for performance
  • Stay up to date with social trends, cultural moments and platform updates
  • Collaborate with clients, creatives and freelancers to deliver campaigns
  • Support creative ideation and new business proposals

Essential skills

  • 5+ years experience
  • Proven experience managing social accounts or campaigns
  • Excellent writing and editing skills

  • Strong understanding of social platforms, audiences and analytics

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects

  • Confident collaborating across creative and client teams
  • Proactive, culturally aware and passionate about storytelling
  • Experience within arts, culture or luxury sectors is desirable
  • Basic design or editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite / Premiere Pro) a plus
