Experienced Project Co-ordinator (Commercial Kitchens)

Are you an experienced Project Co-ordinator with a background in the Commercial Catering/HVAC&R sector looking for an exciting new challenge?

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team on a PT basis of 24 hours per week. The successful candidate will be bringing their expertise in project management, safety, and design to deliver high-quality commercial kitchen installations.

Key Requirements and Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess the following essential qualifications and experience:

  • NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety: A strong commitment to health and safety is paramount.
  • CFSP (Certified Food Service Professional) Qualification: Demonstrated knowledge of the foodservice industry and its operational demands.
  • Proven Experience in CAD Commercial Kitchen Design: Proficiency in using CAD software to create accurate and compliant kitchen layouts.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of the following regulatory areas to ensure project compliance:

Gas Safe Regulations: Knowledge of current regulations relating to the installation and maintenance of gas appliances in commercial settings

FGAS Regulations: Understanding of the regulations governing fluorinated greenhouse gases, particularly as they apply to HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration) Systems.

As Project Co-ordinator you will be responsible for managing commercial kitchen installation projects form initial concept through to handover.

You will also coordinate between design, procurement, site teams and the client with particular focus on legislation, compliance and H & S. Ensuring all projects adhere to strict H&S regulations (NEBOSH), Design Specifications (CAD) and Regulatory Compliance (Gas Safe & FGas).

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining project documentation, timelines and have responsibility for aspects of budget control. You will also be conducting site visits and attending project meetings with Project Managers and Leads so a driving licence and great interpersonal skills along with technical knowledge in order to field questions and queries are key to the success of this role.

Broad duties will include:

· CAD Drawings

· Monitoring competitors & Suppliers and relaying opportunities to relevant Sales Manager

· Equipment and Parts ordering for Installation projects and consumables

· Review and report project costings from completion to ASM, Project Manager and Lead

· Processing incoming Sales sheets with an eye for detail and ensuring all detail is passed on to the installation team

· Assist with providing RAMS to Managers

· Assist with O&M manual creation for project and install Managers

· Monitoring ENSE website for opportunities

· ENSE online presentations and summit space qualification criteria

· Maintenance Contract Offers – Out of Warranty Equipment

· Large Contract Maintenance Quotes led by ASM or Project Manager / Lead

· Check and Report any relevant planning applications to ASM / Project Manager

· Assist with site survey when required

· Assist with deliveries for installations when required

· Dropping parts to engineers on sites when required

Bartlett are offering:
