What You'll Do

  • Lead and take full ownership of this new service, ensuring it meets local needs and reflects our values.
  • Build your expertise in family support, including legal frameworks, risks, and priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with CAFCASS and other key partners.
  • Support families in overcoming barriers to positive contact and communication.
  • Guide parents in understanding the impact of conflict on their children.
  • Help children reconnect with the parent they do not live with.
  • Manage your own caseload and work directly with families throughout their journey.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting and documentation.
  • Contribute to workshops, service development meetings, and CPD opportunities.
  • Lead local business development, building strong relationships with courts, solicitors, and local authorities.
  • Identify opportunities to grow and sustain the service.

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 (or higher) in a children or young people–related qualification.
  • Experience working directly with families in a support or intervention role.
