Swan Family are looking for a HR Advisor to join our Head Office team
Job Overview
Swan Family are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human resources and demonstrate exceptional communication skills. This role is pivotal in supporting our HR functions, ensuring effective management of employee relations, and contributing to the overall success of our organisation.
Main Duties
- Dealing with HR queries and identifying development needs
- Providing advice, support and guidance to the HR administrators
- Conducting Employment Relation cases, including Grievances, Investigations and complex Disciplinaries up to and including dismissal
- Conducting welfare meetings and referring employees to Occupational Health
- Providing Managers and Supervisors with support and guidance. Building and maintaining excellent relationships with the Management team
- Liaising with employee union representatives regarding cases
- TUPE- dealing with both IN and OUT, consulting with employees. Sending out letters and liaising with incumbent companies
- Consulting with employees about site closures and changes in shift patterns
Person Specification
- Dealing with HR queries and identifying development needs

- Conducting Employment Relation cases, including Grievances, Investigations and complex Disciplinaries up to and including dismissal
- Providing Managers and Supervisors with support and guidance.
- Liaising with employee union representatives regarding cases
- TUPE- dealing with both IN and OUT, consulting with employees.
- Consulting with employees about site closures and changes in shift patterns
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
