About Us

We're excited to launch a new service that will make a real difference in the lives of children and their families, and we're looking for a motivated and proactive Family Intervention Worker to lead this journey from the ground up.

What You'll Do
- Lead and take full ownership of this new service, ensuring it meets local needs and reflects our values.
- Build your expertise in family support, including legal frameworks, risks, and priorities.
- Collaborate closely with CAFCASS and other key partners.
- Support families in overcoming barriers to positive contact and communication.
- Guide parents in understanding the impact of conflict on their children.
- Help children reconnect with the parent they do not live with.
- Manage your own caseload and work directly with families throughout their journey.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting and documentation.
- Contribute to workshops, service development meetings, and CPD opportunities.
- Lead local business development, building strong relationships with courts, solicitors, and local authorities.
- Identify opportunities to grow and sustain the service.
Who We're Looking For
- A natural leader with the confidence to take initiative and grow a new service.
- Excellent communicator, organiser, and problem solver.
- Someone comfortable engaging with professionals at all levels and representing the service externally.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for helping families thrive.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 (or higher) in a children or young people–related qualification.
- Experience working directly with families in a support or intervention role.
