IT Talent Acquisition Specialist
with a strong focus on
Energy Trading technology
to help us scale our team and deliver exceptional talent to our clients in this highly specialized domain.

we are working on a hybrid model, onsite 2/3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the
    end-to-end recruitment process
    for IT roles within Energy Trading, from intake briefing to offer and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain
    specialized talent pipelines
    for roles such as:
  • Trading Systems Developers
  • Market Data Analysts
  • Energy Risk & Analytics Engineers
  • Cloud & DevOps specialists for trading platforms
  • Source candidates through advanced techniques: Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, niche forums, and networking within Energy Trading communities.
  • Engage passive candidates using tailored outreach strategies.
  • Write compelling, inclusive job adverts optimised for IT and trading talent pools.
  • Screen CVs, conduct technical and cultural fit assessments, and Provide a high-quality candidate experience throughout.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Provide market insights to hiring managers on talent availability, salary benchmarks, and competitor trends.
  • Champion inclusive hiring practices and support DE&I initiatives.
  • Leverage AI-powered sourcing tools and recruitment tech to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain regular contact with placed candidates to support retention and engagement.
  • Act as a problem-solver in our recruitment lifecycle — identify bottlenecks, rethink processes, and implement improvements.
  • Represent Aubay at industry events, tech meetups, and energy trading conferences to strengthen our employer brand.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in
    IT recruitment
    , ideally with exposure to
    Energy Trading or Financial Services technology roles
    .
  • Strong sourcing expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and advanced sourcing tools.
  • Familiarity with
    trading platforms, market data systems, and energy technology stacks
    .
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of UK employment market, GDPR, and recruitment best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for talent acquisition.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Desirable

  • Experience recruiting across multiple geographies (UK, Middle East).
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other language, ideally French or Arabic.
  • Awareness of emerging recruitment tech trends and ability to integrate AI and automation into sourcing strategies.
  • Knowledge of employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing or SEO for job ads is a plus
