To fuel our next stage of growth, we're looking for a Talent Acquisition & People Operations Manager who can find, attract, and onboard exceptional people while building the systems, culture, and operational backbone that keeps our team excelling.

This role sits at the heart of Simmer, combining hiring, people ops, onboarding, culture, and office management into one high impact position. You'll make sure our people experience is as strong behind the scenes as our brand is on the outside.

What You'll Own

Talent Acquisition

  • Lead end to end recruitment across all functions: creative, growth, product, operations, and beyond.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, write compelling job specs, and design candidate experiences that reflect our brand.
  • Build scalable, repeatable hiring processes, balancing speed with quality at every stage.
  • Track and optimise recruiting metrics to improve efficiency and outcomes.

People Operations

  • Own the full employee lifecycle: contracts, onboarding, systems, records, and HR administration.
  • Design onboarding programs that set new hires up for impact from day one.
  • Support the development of people policies, frameworks, and best practices as we scale.

Culture & Engagement

  • Plan and deliver team socials, offsites, and cultural initiatives that strengthen connection and belonging.
  • Act as a culture champion ensuring Simmer's values are lived daily.
  • Oversee office management at our London HQ - ensuring it's a collaborative, energising space to work.

Your Growth Path

Over time, this position will grow into a Head of People & Talent, shaping Simmer's approach to talent, culture, performance, and engagement as we continue to scale. You'll work directly with founders and leadership, building the foundations of a world class people function. What You Bring

Experience & Skills

  • 4+ years in recruitment (agency or in-house), ideally with exposure to people operations or HR processes.
  • Proven ability to hire exceptional talent quickly and thoughtfully - balancing urgency with quality.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail - able to juggle hiring, onboarding, and people ops seamlessly.
  • Experience building or improving people processes, systems, and employee engagement initiatives.
