**Talent Acquisition Partner: Permanent: London, Cheadle or Crawley based with hybrid working available: Paying £55,000-£60,000 per annum + Benefits**
Morson are proud to be supporting our leading defence client in their search for a competent and hands on Talent Acquisition Partner to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Talent Acquisition Partner will join the organisation at an exciting time of transformation as they prepare for a share sale and change of parent owner. As such the Talent Acquisition Partner would be pivotal in finding high calibre talent to build outteams and supporting the organisation to set up as a new business.
Further responsibilities for the Talent Acquisition Partner include:
- Forming 'business partner' relationships with all functional leadership teams (including sales & bids) to gain a deep understanding of short, medium and long-term resourcing requirements (perm & contingent), identifying business critical roles and futureskills needs/gaps
- Working in partnership with the HR Director, HRBPs and leadership teams create a UK Talent Strategy, aligned to the wider business strategy, developing an intelligent talent pipeline and plan to ensure timely supply of appropriately skilled staff
- Acting as Brand Ambassador and represent the business at external networking events, seminars and recruitment events, keeping our networks and knowledge current and proactively researching market changes so we can adapt and pivot our ways of working
- Attending interviews with Hiring Managers to coach, support and influence the decision-making process, promote best practice and provide challenge as and where necessary
- Approaching the external market to create Talent Pools, managing sourcing and advertising channels effectively for long-term, medium term and immediate resourcing, taking opportunities to pilot new channels and using existing channels successfully
- Being an advocate for Equality, Diversity & Inclusion across the organisation embedding a culture of trust and openness, and attracting diverse talent into our business
- Monitoring the effectiveness of induction processes and the progress of new starters, ensuring they are supported, revise and modify as appropriate
- Capturing, using and interpreting data and analytics, to create an environment of transparency and reporting, which assists in spotting trends, opportunities/risks and efficiency, using that data to influence and inform recruiting/attraction strategies
- Working with the Strategic HRBPs & Talent & Development Business Partner to create development pathways for those in the high potential talent pools, tracking their progress and reviewing with the business to ensure pool is fit for purpose
- Closely monitoring retention levels across the organisation, identifying areas of concern, taking steps to resolve issues as necessary
- Championing compliance with company policies and procedures, including ensuring comprehensive and accurate information is maintained in key systems
To be considered for this opportunity, previous experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role in a large complex/matrix organisation, preferably recruiting against a variety of disciplines across all levels, is essential. The Talent AcquisitionPartner must be willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck with operational duties covering all facets the recruitment full life cycle, as well as the below skills/attributes:
- Experienced in the development and implementation of talent strategies with a focus on both acquisition and retention
- Experience of delivering outcomes for the business by working in a team
- Firsthand experience of utilizing various interview techniques and evaluation methods
- Demonstrable expertise in using resourcing tools, techniques, and processes
- Demonstrable understanding of and passion for talent development
- Demonstrates a pragmatic style with a focus on developing solutions to solve challenges
- Able to demonstrate own development pathway during career to date
- Confident in collaborating with senior stakeholders, bringing insight and challenging as appropriate
- Personal powers of resilience and tenacity; takes personal responsibility for resolving performance issues within the Team before they impact on the business; consistently sees things through to completion
