Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our veterinary practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the clinic, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of client care. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong leadership skills and a background in veterinary services or management to contribute to a dynamic team. The Practice Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment, supporting staff development, and ensuring operational efficiency.
Castle and Grazely Vets are a two-site RCVS-accredited first opinion small animal practice in Farnborough and Farnham. We have a busy and varied small animal caseload including charity work, an excellent veterinary new graduate scheme and nurse clinics five days a week. Both sites have all the usual equipment including in house lab machines, digital x-ray and ultrasound. We have visiting orthopaedic surgeons providing surgical service on site for our clients too, including laparoscopic spays.
We have an experienced, caring and supportive team of 5 Vets, 6 RVN's, 1 SVN, 1 VCA and 5 client care team members. As a team we strive to develop a truly family feel local practice that can be relied upon by our clients in their times of need and in keeping their beloved family members fit and well with preventative medicine. Our clients are well bonded, and a good proportion are insured. We are well established in the area - we have many of our lovely clients who have been coming to us for decades and say we still have that independent, family feel.
At Castle and Grazely Vets we are truly a supportive and collaborative practice where the team is at the heart of what we do. As management we listen to the team and involve them in practice development and growth.
We are looking for a full time practice manager working 40 hours a week with variable hours between 8am and 6.30pm across both sites to support the team at different times of the day. We can consider reducing down to 32 hours for the right candidate. A candidate with previous experience in practice management and a clinical background is desirable but not essential.

- Strong management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
