The Role

The Senior Digital Marketing Manageris responsible for leading the full marketing and brand function for Monopoly Events. This is a key, senior role that blends strategic thinking with creative execution - driving ticket sales, audience growth, and unforgettable consumer experiences.

You'll be an advocate of our brand, ensuring that everything we create - from campaign visuals to tone of voice, content, and customer communications - reflects our unique culture and energy. Our company exists to create lasting memories and you need to express this through our content channels. You'll work alongside our owners and directors to oversee the creative direction of the brand and lead the internal and external creative teams to deliver bold, distinctive campaigns that keep all of Monopoly Events Comic Cons at the forefront of live entertainment.

Driving digital lead generation across all channels is fundamental to success. By overseeing an annual marketing budget, you'll ensure efficient, data-led investment across paid and organic channels, while unlocking new ways to engage audiences and grow loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the marketing and brand strategy, ensuring alignment with commercial targets and growth ambitions.
    • Set clear campaign objectives and KPIs focused on ticket sales, audience growth, and brand impact.
  • Manage and optimise a large multi-channel marketing budget—across paid media, digital, PR, influencer, and offline—for maximum ROI.
  • Lead all digital performance activity (PPC, paid social, SEO, CRM/email), driving data-led optimisation and continuous improvement.
  • Use analytics, segmentation, and reporting to guide decisions and improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Evolve all of our Comic Con brands, ensuring consistent, standout creative across all touchpoints.
  • Lead the creative process from concept to execution, delivering bold, original campaigns that cut through.
  • Build strong venue partnerships, creating joint marketing plans that drive local engagement and ticket sales.
  • Inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing marketing team and manage key agency relationships.
  • Champion marketing's role in driving both brand growth and commercial performance.

Candidate Requirements

Essential

  • Proven marketing experience, ideally as a Marketing Manager or Marketing Lead within a fast-paced consumer brand.
  • Data-led decision-maker with strong knowledge of digital marketing, CRM, and analytics.
  • Strong track record in developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies that drive measurable commercial results.
  • Deep understanding of brand building, creative strategy, and audience engagement.
  • Experienced in leading and motivating creative and performance-driven marketing teams.

Desirable

  • Events, entertainment, Fan Convention, or exhibition industry experience.
  • Understanding of audience segmentation, experiential marketing, and community building.
  • Delivering and managing the marketing provision for Sponsorship partnerships
