The Challenge
We are seeking an experienced and strategic
Director, Digital Media Communications, EMEA
for our creator, creative professional and business professional products. This senior role will lead a team responsible for implementing meaningful communications strategies for Adobe's creative and document product portfolio spanning ideation, productivity, imaging, photography, video and more. This role will be pivotal in driving the visibility, education, and reputation of Adobe Digital Media products and other business priorities. The role will also be responsible for encouraging mainstream audiences to connect with our wide range of products.
Reporting to Adobe's Director of Communications, International, this EMEA role is for a communicator who thrives in fast-paced, matrixed environments. You will be required to provide critical thinking, narrative building and program management while collaborating across many teams.
What you will do:
- Lead and mentor a team of communications professionals with a drive for business sense, strategic media engagement, creative community involvement, and tangible results.
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies for Adobe's creative and business products that align with audience needs and business priorities and drive product adoption among creators, creative professionals and business professionals.
- Work closely with marketing, social, events, communications, brand, community, and product teams to support product launches, promotional campaigns, calendar moments, and key brand initiatives through coordinated communication efforts across channels.
- Develop strategic narratives to advance Adobe's awareness and reputation among business and target user audiences.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content including press releases, blog posts, podcasts, case studies and more, ensuring content is aligned with Adobe's brand voice and resonates with target audiences.
- Drive media results and develop strategies for communication through media, analysts, influencers, forums and more to enhance product visibility and reputation.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging business priorities to proactively adapt communication strategies and operate as a constructive business partner.
- Partner with product management, marketing, social media, legal, and other teams to ensure consistent and impactful communication across all channels.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- High growth communications: 12+ years of experience in digital media, startup, or technology communications, with a focus on consumer and B2B brands highly preferred.
- Experience leading teams at scale: Executive presence and proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
- Success in high-growth environments: Experience creating, executing, and leading communications in agile, fast-paced environments.
- Innovation and creativity: Ability to conceptualize and effectively communicate ideas to improve and chart the next chapter of storytelling.
- Modern storytelling approach: Depth in digital communications and the social ecosystem with an understanding of multimedia, visual storytelling, and modern communications platforms.
