EMEA Supply Chain Sustainability Director
Based in Haddneham (UK), Avignon (France) or Stefanowo near Warsaw (Poland) - hybrid work
Reporting to the VP Operations and Supply Chain EMEA, the EMEA Supply Chain Sustainability Director (EMEA Purpose-Led Performance Director) is responsible for developing a relevant regional PLP execution plan for EMEA supply chain across Planet, Community and People in line with global strategy. To this end, the role manages 3 key dimensions : Safety – Health – Environment, Risk Management and Purpose Lead Performance.
The role manages an EMEA Safety Director who provides advice and guidance on safety, health, and environment issues, and actively promotes a positive SHE culture grounded and visible at the shop floor level of every site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ensures compliance with current and future health & safety local legislations across EMEA
- Works with EMEA Safety Director to build resiliency programmes at sites and regional level to deliver strong facility protection and environmental compliance
- Provides risk management leadership oversight of the EMEA supply chain and implements robust mitigation plans to support the regional business objectives : leads the development, roll out and testing of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) in EMEA; works with site leadership to ensure facility resilience programmes are in place and certified as Highly protected
- Identifies and promotes best practices, policies and plans to adapt to changing legal, social and economic environments as well as customer expectations
- Manages engagements with regional and global stakeholders by proactively communicating plans and progress on a regular basis
- Leads the EMEA supply chain PLP agenda ensuring that robust plans are in place at both a regional and local level to meet our relevant global PLP commitments (.
- Represents EMEA Supply Chain within the regional and global PLP community
- As a member of the regional supply chain leadership team (SCLT), engages and makes meaningful contribution to the functional strategies to meet business objectives
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and progressing leadership roles within Supply Chain and Manufacturing, with proven experience in sustainable development strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results using analytical decision making, building strong relationships, and direction setting.
- A strong practical approach with clear leadership and influencing abilities
- Strong communication and diplomacy skills to guide and influence others, strong leadership of non-direct reports to achieve common objectives in different culture
- Ability to translate strategy into actionable information
- Flexible and able to manage concurrent priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills: leads other in problem solving and root cause analysis
- Knowledge of the programs, policies and practices of other food and general industry practices in safety, industrial
- Able to travel; Fluent English is required
