Supply Chain Lead

London, Greater London, United Kingdom Wild Cosmetics Full time £60,000 - £80,000 per year

About Us:

Hi there we're Wild. We're on a mission to remove single-use plastic from the bathroom, armed with our refillable, natural and scent-sational deodorants, body wash, haircare and lip balm – and we're only just getting started. We launched in 2020 and as a high-growth company we're already one of Europe's fastest growing start-ups So, fancy coming along for the ride?

The Role:

We're looking for a Supply Chain Lead to join Wild and take full ownership of global supply planning for our flagship deodorant range, as well as our minis and lip balms. This is a high-impact role at the heart of the business - ensuring that our most important products are always in stock, production runs smoothly, and our supply chain scales with Wild's rapid growth. You'll report into our Head of Supply Chain and directly manage our Deo Supply Chain Manager.

In this pivotal role, you'll set and deliver supply planning strategy, lead critical supplier partnerships, and drive cross-functional projects that improve resilience, reduce costs, and optimise working capital. As a trusted voice in the business, you'll collaborate closely with Demand Planning, Fulfilment, NPD, Marketing, and Finance, as well as our third-party manufacturers and suppliers, ensuring that supply chain excellence directly powers Wild's growth and mission.

Some of your responsibilities:

Global Supply Planning & Inventory Management

Supply Ownership: Own global supply planning for stick categories (deo, minis, lip balms), ensuring availability across all markets while optimising working capital and achieving Inventory Days on Hand (DOH) and Stock Cover targets.

Supplier Partnerships: Own vendor management for 3rd party suppliers in the deo/solids space — building strong relationships while holding partners accountable on cost, service and quality. Lead negotiations, run supplier scorecards, and drive Supplier OTIF and Lead Time Adherence improvements, having the tough conversations when needed to ensure resilience and continuous improvement.

Process Leadership: Lead the product and component ordering process with suppliers, including PO creation, production scheduling and reporting, ensuring Production Plan Adherence targets are consistently met.

Inventory Control: Proactively monitor and manage inventory levels across all fulfilment centres, minimising Obsolescence % and maintaining the right balance between availability and efficiency.

Strategy & Optimisation

KPI Ownership: Track and report key supply chain KPIs to leadership - including Inventory Days on Hand, Stock Cover, Obsolescence %, Supplier OTIF, Production Plan Adherence, Material Cost Variance, and Stock Accuracy % - identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions. Use advanced quantitative analysis and modelling to identify trends, forecast needs, optimise decisions, and continuously improve performance.

Strategic Projects: Identify and deliver initiatives such as supplier diversification, ERP/tool implementation, cost reduction programmes, and sustainability improvements.

Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing improvements in supply planning, enhancing forecast accuracy, supply chain agility, and cross-team processes.

Risk Mitigation: Anticipate risks and lead mitigation strategies to minimise disruption and protect service levels.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Commercial Input: Act as the supply chain lead in commercial, finance, NPD and marketing discussions, using strong quantitative and financial skills to evaluate trade-offs (cost, service, sustainability, working capital). Comfortable building complex scenario models, to provide data-driven recommendations, and influence senior stakeholders.

Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional projects such as new product launches, cost-saving initiatives, and supply resilience programmes.

Balanced Decision-Making: Balance commercial, operational, and sustainability trade-offs to support Wild's growth and mission.

Team Management

People Leadership: Manage and develop our Deo Supply Chain Manager, setting clear goals, providing coaching, and creating a high-performance culture.

Decision-Making: Act as the point of escalation for complex issues, ensuring clarity of prioritisation and timely decisions.

Team Growth: Shape future team structure, supporting hiring and onboarding to ensure the function scales effectively.

What we need from you:

Please note that we welcome applications from candidates who may not hit every single bullet point on the lists below - if you're passionate about our mission and feel you have relevant skills and experiences to add value to this role, please submit an application

Experience & Leadership: 7+ years of supply chain experience, ideally within Skincare, Bodycare, Beauty or FMCG, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role (team management + cross-functional project ownership)

Supply Chain Ownership: Strong track record of owning supply planning, inventory management, and supplier relationships across multiple markets or categories

Supplier Management: Experience with 3rd party component and packaging suppliers and contract manufacturers, including vendor management, negotiations, and supplier performance reviews

Operational & Strategic Balance: Skilled at balancing operational detail with strategic thinking — comfortable raising POs one moment and setting long-term supply strategies the next

Quantitative & Modelling Expertise: Highly numerate, with strong analytical and modelling skills. Able to build scenario models, evaluate trade-offs, forecast inventory needs, and support data-driven decisions across supply chain and commercial functions

ERP Expertise: Proven experience working with ERP systems, with the ability to optimise processes, ensure data integrity, and drive adoption across the team

Organisational Expertise: Exceedingly organised, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with a track record of driving continuous improvement

Communication & Influence: Strong communicator and influencer, able to engage effectively at all levels internally and externally, and make clear, confident decisions
