Job Overview

The Supply Chain Planning Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the factory's production planning team to ensure seamless operations and optimal utilization of resources. This role involves close collaboration with customers, leading the production planning process using SAP and driving alignment between supply chain, production, and customer requirements.

Job Requirements
  • Lead and mentor a team of planners, driving accountability and continuous improvement

    • Oversee production planning using SAP to optimize factory operations and meet delivery targets

    • Coordinate with production, procurement and warehouse teams to ensure material availability

    • Monitor schedules, resolve delays and adjust plans to maintain customer commitments

    • Engage with customers to understand needs, share updates and build strong relationships

    • Ensure data accuracy in SAP and troubleshoot system issues with IT or relevant teams

    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and performance

    • Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, lead times and inventory levels, taking corrective action as needed

    • Collaborate with procurement, logistics and quality teams to align supply chain goals

    • Support S&OP meetings to synchronize demand and supply planning

  • Collaborating with the plant operations, analyzing and recommending long-range capacity solutions to proactively satisfy potential supply constraints before they impact the plant and customers.
What your background should look like
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Proficiency in SAP Production Planning & MM modules and related supply chain functionalities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external customers.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
