Our client is a leading UK food production company, they have seen significant growth and are focused on maintaining excellence across its operations. They are committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement where team members are encouraged to grow.

They are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to oversee the end-to-end supply chain. As they Supply Chain Manager you will ensure the timely flow of goods from suppliers to production. You will lead a team and drive efficiency, directly contributing to the company's operational success and high standards of customer satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Monitor and expedite deliveries, resolving any delays promptly.
  • Create and manage purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to material supply.
  • Forecast stock needs and manage product shelf life.
  • Support new product development with ingredient implementation.
  • Manage the phase-out of delisted product materials.
  • Coach and mentor team members for professional growth.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in a fast-paced supply chain management role.
  • A background in food production or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing a team.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great organisational skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with high attention to detail.

This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to be in the office 3 times per week in their office in North London.

The salary bracket for this position is from £65,000 - £75,000 + bonus and benefits.
