Superco is a Shopify Platinum Partner agency based in London, designing, building, and optimising high-performing Shopify and Shopify Plus stores. We partner with fast-moving brands across wellness, fashion, and lifestyle - delivering speed, commercial insight, and measurable growth.

We're expanding our development team and hiring a Senior Shopify Developer to lead technical delivery across some of the most exciting Shopify builds in the UK.

The Role

You'll be responsible for leading complex Shopify projects from scoping to launch, setting technical standards, and mentoring other developers. You'll work closely with designers, project managers, and the founders to deliver scalable, performant storefronts that drive measurable results.

This is a hands-on role for a developer who wants ownership, impact, and the opportunity to help shape how Superco builds at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead front-end development on Shopify and Shopify Plus projects
  • Build high-quality, performant, and maintainable code using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Collaborate with designers and PMs to scope, estimate, and plan work
  • Review code and support technical decisions across the team
  • Troubleshoot issues, optimise performance, and ensure best practice implementation
  • Support integrations with Shopify APIs, custom apps, and third-party systems
  • Contribute to internal tools, documentation, and reusable components

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of Shopify development experience (agency or brand side)
  • Expert in Liquid, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Strong grasp of Shopify theme architecture and API integrations
  • Proficient with Git and modern development workflows
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Bonus

: experience with React, Hydrogen, or headless architecture

: experience leading Shopify migrations or working with Shopify Plus
