What you'll be doing

  • Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes using 
    Liquid
    , 
    HTML
    , 
    CSS (SCSS)
    , and 
    JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Work confidently with 
    Shopify Online Store 2.0
    , 
    metafields
    , and 
    dynamic sections
  • Collaborate with designers to deliver pixel-perfect, responsive builds
  • Optimise sites for 
    speed, accessibility, SEO
    , and 
    AI-driven search visibility
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across browsers and devices
  • Integrate with 
    Shopify APIs
     and work on custom functionality with backend developers
  • Experiment with 
    AI-assisted tools
     and 
    emerging Shopify features
     to streamline and elevate development
  • Contribute ideas to continuously improve our processes, standards, and workflows

You should be/have:

  • 1–3+ years of front-end development experience (agency or freelance welcome)
  • Strong proficiency in 
    HTML
    , 
    CSS/SCSS
    , and 
    JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Practical experience developing Shopify themes using 
    Liquid
  • Familiarity with 
    Shopify's ecosystem
     — apps, metafields, and theme customisation
  • Understanding of 
    SEO principles
     and best practices for optimisation
  • Curiosity about 
    AI tools
     and how they can enhance development workflows
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to clean, maintainable code
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach
  • A genuine drive to stay 
    one step ahead of trends
     in front-end and eCommerce tech
