Here in the NFU Mutual Honiton agency, we're looking to appoint a proven Commercial Sales leader as Senior Partner and the strategic figurehead of the agency's leadership team.
NFU Mutual Senior Partner opportunity in East DevonAs Senior Partner in the NFU Mutual Honiton agency you'll have the opportunity to lead and grow a fully operational, £multi-million insurance business. Together with the support of an experienced Partner and fully trained team, you'll steer the agency to new heights, preserving the agency's core farming portfolio, whilst continuing its expansion strategy in Commercial Lines and HNW Insurance.
As Senior Partner of the NFU Mutual Honiton agency your focus will be on:
Building and nurturing existing Commercial client relationships with key decision makers, ensuring high renewal rates are maintained with unrivalled customer care.
Planning and executing strategy specifically for Commercial Insurance and HNW, accelerating new business growth across an expanding range of sectors covering SMEs and Mid-Corporates.
Strategic oversight for the overall agency, working collaboratively with your Partner to develop robust business plans that deliver operational excellence and maximise the agency's commercial performance.
Playing a supportive role to the current Partner in the local farming community as a representative of the NFU.
This is a self-employed business opportunity blending strategy with delivery. It's the perfect career move for a Commercial Sales leader who enjoys leading from the front and engaging in senior-level relationship building. Specifically, we're looking for:
A B2B (SME/Mid-Corp/Commercial) sales professional with experience of consultative sales, business development and key account management within a regulated industry.
A strategic thinker and visionary leader to shape the agency's future direction, drive operational excellence, and embed a high-performance culture.
An engaging people leader who can lead and inspire teams to drive towards a common goal.
Strong commercial acumen with boardroom credibility to engage and advise Business Owners and Directors on risk management of their business.
A personal interest or connection with the farming community or rural life to support the agency towards delivering its NFU membership responsibilities.
The National Farmers Union (NFU) represents the voice of agriculture up to the highest levels, on both national and international platforms. For more than 110 years, the NFU and NFU Mutual have enjoyed a close relationship, working together to provide a first-class service to the farming and wider rural community.
As an additional NFU Group Secretary in the Honiton agency you'll support the current Partner with championing the interests of local farmers, recruiting and retaining NFU members and keeping them up-to-date on agricultural policy. With full backing from the NFU, you'll have access to expert advice and specialist support on everything from policy and increasing membership to marketing and media.
