Job Title: Commercial Executive

Role Purpose:

The Commercial Executive will support the commercial lead in managing customer accounts, driving profitability, and ensuring smooth execution of commercial strategies.

This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the food manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Account Management:

  • Assist in managing key retail and food service accounts.
  • Support in preparing and delivering customer presentations and proposals.

Pricing & Cost Analysis:

  • Monitor product costs, margins, and pricing strategies.
  • Assist in developing cost models and profitability reports.

Forecasting & Planning:

  • Support demand forecasting and sales planning activities.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and production teams to ensure accurate planning.

Commercial Reporting:

  • Prepare weekly and monthly commercial performance reports.
  • Track KPIs such as sales, margins, and promotional effectiveness.

Market & Competitor Analysis:

  • Research market trends and competitor activity to inform commercial decisions.
  • Provide insights to support new product development and innovation.

Executive Support:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to the Commercial Director, including diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
  • Manage correspondence, prepare meeting agendas, and take minutes where required.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a commercial or sales support role within FMCG or food manufacturing is desirable.
