Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader with a flair for impeccable food presentation, and a deep understanding of food safety standards. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, from food preparation and inventory management to team supervision and service excellence. Your energetic leadership will inspire your team to achieve culinary excellence while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to uphold the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Manage inventory control and food ordering processes to minimise waste while ensuring sufficient stock levels for smooth service.
  • Oversee food safety compliance by implementing rigorous hygiene practices, monitoring sanitation procedures, and ensuring adherence to health regulations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages skill development and teamwork.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on food handling, culinary techniques, and safety protocols to maintain a skilled and compliant team.

Experience

  • Proven experience in fast pace environments with a strong background in food production, restaurant management, or culinary leadership roles.
  • Supervising experience managing diverse kitchen teams in fast-paced settings while maintaining high morale.
  • Demonstrated expertise in food safety standards and dietary accommodations within the hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with food handling regulations, culinary techniques, and hospitality service standards is essential.
