Job Overview

Le Flamant are looking for an experienced and motivated Chef with a proven track record. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the management team at this excellent restaurant.

You will have a strong background in food preparation and safety. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional dining experiences while ensuring the highest standards of food production and hospitality.

The role would suit someone looking to take ownership of a menu and impart their own personality on the dishes that are served. Whilst not quite a blank canvas it is certainly a role that will offer freedom to be creative.

salary will be generous and negotiable for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to guarantee the highest quality of dishes served.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Handle any customer feedback or complaints regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Chef within a restaurant or catering environment.
  • would suit a chef keen to take the next step in his/her career.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Experience in menu planning, food production, and cost control is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
