The Role

We're looking for an experienced, passionate Chef to join our growing kitchen team. You'll play a key role in food preparation, service, and maintaining high kitchen standards, working closely with our Head Chef and wider team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard during busy service periods
  • Assist in menu development and dish costing where required
  • Maintain stock control and ordering
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
  • Support other staff and contribute to a positive, professional kitchen culture
  • Work collaboratively with FOH and management to maintain smooth service
  • Adhere to all company policies, including allergen awareness and HACCP compliance

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen (restaurant, bistro, or hotel setting)
  • Strong knowledge of fresh, seasonal ingredients and modern cooking techniques
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and maintain attention to detail
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred)
  • Flexibility to work Thursday - Sunday
