We host weddings, corporate events, and private parties, offering guests exceptional dining experiences in a beautiful setting. Our kitchen team is passionate about fresh, local ingredients and creating memorable dishes for every occasion.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced, motivated Sous Chef to join our versatile kitchen team. You'll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver high-quality food across our café and events, lead the team in the Head Chef's absence, and contribute to menu development that showcases seasonal and locally sourced produce.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations across all areas: café and events
- Lead, motivate, and train junior kitchen staff
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-standard dishes for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and day-to-day dining
- Contribute creatively to menu planning and seasonal specials
- Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and waste management
- Help foster a positive, collaborative working environment
About You
- Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
- Passionate about fresh, local, and seasonal produce
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Calm and organised under pressure, adaptable to different dining formats
- Creative, proactive, and committed to quality
- Food hygiene certification (Level 2 or above)

Pay: Up to £36,000.00 per year
