Digital Waffle is growing, and we're looking for a
Business Development Executive
to join our team in Birmingham. This is a recruitment role in everything but name – perfect for someone who's commercially driven, loves building relationships, and wants to be rewarded for results.
You'll be joining a team that values trust, energy, and personality over corporate fluff. No micromanagement, no late nights, and no pointless KPIs – just good people doing great work.
Role:
Business Development Executive (Recruitment Consultant)
Salary:
Competitive + 20% commission
Location:
Birmingham City Centre – Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office (Tuesday to Thursday)
What you'll be doing:
- Building and managing relationships with new and existing clients across digital, tech, and creative markets
- Managing the full recruitment process – from business development through to candidate placement
- Writing engaging job adverts and headhunting top talent across multiple digital disciplines
- Working closely with clients to understand their hiring needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Managing pipelines and hitting targets in a collaborative, non-corporate environment
What you'll need:
- Experience in recruitment, business development, or sales
- A natural communicator who enjoys building relationships and spotting opportunities
- Organised, self-motivated, and confident working to goals
- A positive attitude and drive to grow within a fast-moving agency environment
- A sense of humour (we take our work seriously, not ourselves)
