Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Sales Executive based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom.
The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and driving sales growth. The role involves preparing sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with the operations team to ensure smooth project execution. The Sales Executive will also be responsible for market research, attending industry events, and providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, business development, and client relationship management
- Knowledge of the shipping industry, project cargo, liner services, and international shipping regulations
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving sales targets
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce software
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
- Experience working in the European market and an understanding of industry trends will be advantageous.
