Metafab Structures Limited is on the lookout for a talented Fabricator/Welder to join our growing team. We specialise in the manufacturing of structural and architectural metalwork, and we're looking for someone who's skilled, reliable, and takes pride in their craft.

This is a hands-on role in our workshop, working on a variety of exciting projects. To ensure the right fit, a practical weld test will be required during the interview process.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out welding tasks, including MIG, TIG & stick welding
  • Read and interpret technical drawings
  • Measure and mark dimensions on metal components using basic maths skills
  • Cut, shape, and assemble metal pieces using hand and power tools
  • Inspect welded joints for quality, and make necessary repairs or adjustments
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area
  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or in a similar role (5 years required)
  • Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick)
  • Coded welding qualifications (preferred)
  • Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in metal fabrication
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
