The Opportunity
The Supplier Relations Manager is a member of the larger marketing and partnerships ("M&P") team, focusing on supporting strategic partnership initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to build and maintain strong relationships with partners, advisors, and internal teams while driving engagement, satisfaction, and growth. Leveraging your industry expertise and supplier connections, you will help ensure F1S delivers an exceptional experience for travel advisors and their clients globally, with a particular focus on leisure and entertainment.
This role is based in our London office, and we are seeking a candidate local to the Covent Garden area.
Compensation: 55k GBP
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Collaborate with EU and UK advisors, acting as a key point of contact to foster engagement with partners, resolve conflicts, and provide expert guidance on supplier relations.
• Be a part of the global partnerships team, delivering seamless support across time zones to ensure service "around the sun."
• Assist with the Boutique Collection and Entertainment Program, ensuring these offerings are aligned with advisor and client needs.
• Work closely with partners such as Advantage and Virtuoso to strengthen supplier relationships, enhance program offerings, expand visibility among F1S advisors, and improve overall client satisfaction.
• Negotiate and secure local deals to support F1S's expansion into EU and UK markets.
• Support the Managing Director in leading the monthly EU and UK VIC call.
• Strengthen supplier relationships to expand program offerings, increase visibility, and improve overall client satisfaction.
• Drive advisor engagement by implementing feedback and recommendations from the M&P team to improve their experience.
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve partnership-related requests in collaboration with internal teams.
• Support Partnership Directors in enhancing communication and collaboration with preferred partners.
• Act as a bridge between our advisors and global suppliers, ensuring local perspectives are represented in global strategy.
• Oversee and serve as the primary point of contact for supplier relations, while collaborating with the Managing Director and advisors to foster partner engagement and resolve conflicts.
• Represent F1S at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, building strong relationships with advisors, and promoting the company's values and services.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the travel or hospitality industry, with a strong focus on leisure, entertainment, and luxury markets.
• Deep knowledge of premium and luxury hotels, destinations, and global experiences.
• Familiarity with major consortia and networks such as Advantage, Virtuoso, and other European consortia.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Self-starter with good judgment and the ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Must be able to adapt quickly to changing needs and priorities
