THE ROLE
We need someone exceptional to build and execute our founder-led content strategy. This isn't about churning out corporate LinkedIn posts. This is about building a world class, global personal brand that generates inbound leads, establishes thought leadership, and drives real commercial outcomes.
Here's what this role IS:
- Building and managing the CEO's personal brand across social platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok)
- Creating a content strategy that positions our founder as THE voice in travel adtech and AI-native transformation
- Coordinating our company social media presence and strategy across all platforms
- Understanding platform algorithms, ranking mechanics, and virality triggers to maximize organic reach
- Generating qualified inbound leads through strategic content (you get paid commission on every lead that converts)
- Working directly with the founder to capture authentic stories, insights, and perspectives
- Analyzing what's working, iterating fast, and scaling what wins
Here's what this role IS NOT:
- Producing content for the company's corporate social channels (we have other people for that)
- Managing a team or coordinating designers/videographers
- Creating generic "tips and tricks" content that gets lost in the feed
- A traditional "social media manager" role
WHAT YOU'VE DONE
You've built a personal brand before. Maybe it's your own—10k+ followers, consistent engagement, content that people actually share. Maybe you've done this for a founder or executive at another brand and seen the commercial impact firsthand.
You understand how LinkedIn's algorithm rewards native video versus links. You know why X (Twitter) engagement is different from Instagram. You've seen a piece of content go viral and you know exactly why it happened. You can spot a trend before it peaks.
You're probably:
- Already producing content somewhere—your own channels, a brand, a creator economy project
- Commercially minded—you get that content is a business tool, not just creative expression
- Obsessed with platform mechanics and what makes content perform
- Confident working with a high-performing founder who expects excellence
- Hungry to build something from scratch and get paid directly for the results you drive
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO WIN HERE
Non-negotiables:
- Proven track record building a personal brand (yours or someone else's) with measurable results
- Deep understanding of social platform algorithms, ranking systems, and content distribution mechanics
- Ability to create content strategies that drive commercial outcomes (not just vanity metrics)
- Experience working directly with founders or executives (or the confidence to start)
- Portfolio showing content you've created or coordinated that generated real engagement
- Self-directed and entrepreneurial—this role requires initiative, not hand-holding
Nice to haves:
- Experience in B2B tech
- Understanding of demand generation and how content drives pipeline
- Experience with AI tools for content creation and optimization
- Existing network in the UK tech or adtech community
