Team Assistant – Investment Environment

£50,000 – £55,000 + generous bonus and benefits | Hybrid – 3 days in the office (City)

A global investment firm with a long-standing reputation for excellence is looking for a Team Assistant to support a high-performing investment team based in the City. Known for its independence, long-term perspective and collaborative culture, the firm works with leading institutions and financial intermediaries around the world.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has gained experience as a desk assistant or in a similar fast-paced environment such as private equity, a hedge fund or investment banking. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and take real ownership of day-to-day team support, with scope to broaden your responsibilities as your confidence grows.

What you'll be doing

  • Diary management across multiple time zones
  • Coordinating international travel
  • Preparing documents, reports and meeting materials
  • Managing expenses and onboarding support
  • Acting as first point of contact for internal and external queries
  • Working alongside the EA on projects, events, and wider team activity
  • Liaising with brokers and third-party providers and coordinating meetings
  • Supporting meeting preparation, follow-up and materials

What we're looking for

  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience supporting multiple personalities and priorities
  • Proactive, solution-focused, and comfortable working at pace
  • Interest in the investment world and a desire to take on more over time
  • Confident using MS Office and open to learning new systems

This would suit someone who enjoys being at the centre of a team, contributing beyond the standard assistant remit and working with people who genuinely value high-quality support.
