We're on the lookout for a Sales Associate to join our growing AmeriCamp Team – to help connect applicants with their ideal role at one of our amazing camps. We're all about cultural exchange, matching our candidates' skills to a camp and role where we know they'll be in an environment where they can thrive. Your enthusiasm, product knowledge and customer-centric approach will help recruit prospective applicants, drive internal sales and foster lasting relationships with our AmeriCamp Community. In this role you will:
Provide exceptional service when engaging with our leads across all platforms, e.g. phone, email, messaging, and socials.
Contact interested parties and advise them on what they can expect from the programme, influencing them to book.
Track and report on sales metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
Strategise on how/where to get more leads
Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional campaigns/ materials
Give input on sales messaging and activity, to help reach monthly targets set by the business
Use of our internal CRM systems to track and log interactions
Take payments and provide accurate info on payment plans, cancellations etc.
Attend events to sell our programmes externally
Support business-wide events both internally and externally
Be a point of customer service for all existing bookings by answering queries via email and phone
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, to ensure AmeriCamp remains competitive and innovative.
Additional Responsibilities:
National travel as required (Fairs, conferences, client meetings)
Back up other team members, diversifying across operations tasks as necessary
Required Experience
You must have:
- Excellent Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence others
- Sales Acumen: Experience working in a fast-paced sales environment with a proven track record meeting and exceeding sales targets (2 years + is preferred).
- Customer-Centric Approach: Prioritise customer needs and build rapport
- Methodical: A methodical mind to ensure that we are working through incoming enquiries efficiently, as well as to report on sales and conversions
- Organised: Ability to remain organised and handle multiple tasks at once
- Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
- Creativity: Ability to think creatively and outside the box, with an entrepreneurial approach
- Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Initiative: Self-starter, comfortable with working independently
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in logging interactions and records on our systems.
- IT Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, Gmail, PowerPoint, Hubspot, Salesforce, and basic database functions

Strong product knowledge and familiarity with the American Summer Camp industry is a plus
