About Us

We are a friendly, welcoming hotel based in the heart of Glasgow Westend, offering exceptional guest experiences in a warm and professional setting. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a dedicated Hotel Assistant to join our front-of-house team.

Responsibilities

Reception Duties:

  • Greet guests and manage check-ins/outs
  • Handle bookings, payments, and guest enquiries
  • Provide local information and excellent customer service
  • Answer phones/emails and manage reservations system
  • Assist guests with luggage
  • Keep entrance and lobby areas tidy and presentable
  • Help with basic maintenance checks and room deliveries
  • Support guests with taxis, directions, and special requests

Other Duties:

  • Ensure guest safety and report incidents as needed
  • Support housekeeping or breakfast team when required
  • Follow all hotel procedures and health & safety protocols

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Friendly, reliable, and professional attitude
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Previous hospitality or reception experience preferred
  • Comfortable lifting and carrying guest luggage
  • Right to work in the UK
