The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who has pursued a finance, accounting, or business degree, adept at MS Excel for data analysis and interpretation, has strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and communication skills, and demonstrates initiative, a professional attitude, is humble and honest, has a genuine interest in the industry and demonstrate a high level of integrity. Someone who plans and executes tasks systematically, embodying the qualities of a dedicated team player.

The Role

Triton is offering a successful candidate the opportunity to work for Triton, a leading Private Equity firm as a Finance Intern for 12 months. The role will be based in our London office. This is an ideal opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and develop the key skills needed to grow within the finance industry.

• Assist in preparing and analysing financial statements and reports.
• Involvement in the month, quarter, and year reporting process.
• Assist with preparing and reconciling ledger balances and other monthly and yearly accounts.
• Support the Financial Reporting and Analysis Team.
• Review employee travel and entertainment expenditure claims ensuring compliance with group policy.
• Contribute to improvement projects.

Essential Requirements

• An interest in gaining experience in Finance Controllership and Financial Reporting and Analysis.
• Proficiency with Excel and Outlook.
• Experience in financial reporting tools and general ledger systems a plus.
• Comprehension of double-entry principles.
• Effective communication written and verbal skills.
