I.C. Brindle & Co. Ltd are looking for a experienced office coordinator to work in our office based in Poole.

We are looking for a friendly, experienced individual that can work independently as well as being part of a team, it is essential that the candidate has an excellent phone manner and is able to work under pressure, managing and prioritise incoming orders so that they are despatched on time and with the most cost effective courier, this will be done by working closely with the warehouse staff and coordinating orders from start to finish.

This position will have the following roles (but are not limited too) :

  • Answering the telephone and diverting calls to the relevant member of staff
  • Dealing with customer enquiries which may include providing tracking details, proof of delivery, general order updates.
  • Processing purchase orders onto our Magento based system, keeping the customer informed of any possible delays and despatch dates and relaying the despatch date to warehouse staff to ensure timelines are met.
  • General sales administration
  • General office procedures
  • Purchase ordering, Ordering stock as levels get low - working closely with the warehouse staff to ensure stock levels are kept.
  • Logistics- Despatching orders worldwide with the most cost effective and time appropriate courier.

Training will be given on our office procedures but the basics such as a good telephone manner, customer service and being able to prioritise workload is a must.

Office working hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes lunch .

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00 per year
