Senior Performance Analyst
to take the lead on operational performance analysis, reporting, and delay attribution — using data to uncover insights, solve problems, and influence strategic decisions across the business.
What You'll Do
- Act as CrossCountry's senior lead for operational performance analysis, reporting, and delay attribution/resolution of CrossCountry-caused incidents.
- Produce clear, data-driven insights, trends, and forecasts at both business and regional levels using Power BI.
- Use robust analysis to inform and drive business change, underpinned by empirical evidence.
- Compile accurate daily, weekly, period, and annual performance reports for CrossCountry's Executive team, as well as key stakeholders including the Department for Transport and Arriva Group.
- Provide actionable insights to improve route performance, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead as a subject matter expert on Performance systems, tools, and processes.
What You'll Bring
- A strong understanding of railway industry performance metrics and processes.
- Proven experience collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders — from front-line teams to senior leaders — and managing expectations around performance reporting.
- The ability to lead complex analytical projects, investigate and resolve performance issues, and think creatively to deliver practical solutions.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, complex formulas) and hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn complex data into compelling insights for non-technical audiences.
