Senior Data Analyst – Wholesale & E-commerce

UK-based | Remote

Up to £55,000 + benefits

We're looking for a hands-on Data Analyst who thrives on connecting data from multiple systems to uncover what's really driving commercial performance.

You'll play a key role in improving visibility of sales, stock, margin, and operational KPIs across a multi-channel wholesale environment.

What you'll do

  • Interrogate large datasets using SQL and Excel to identify trends and performance drivers across ERP, WMS, CRM and web platforms.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting suites to track commercial KPIs such as stock turns, margin, rebate accuracy, pricing variance, and product mix.
  • Support weekly trading packs covering sales, margin, and inventory performance across multiple regions and channels.
  • Partner with commercial, operations, and e-commerce teams to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Develop repeatable, automated data processes using SQL / Power BI / PySpark, improving reliability and speed of reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement projects around pricing governance, demand forecasting, and stock optimisation.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience analysing data in wholesale, retail, or distribution settings with large SKU volumes.
  • Advanced SQL and Excel capability; strong working knowledge of Power BI.
  • Understanding of commercial metrics (margin, price realisation, rebate accuracy, cost-to-serve, stock turns).
  • Ability to consolidate data from multiple systems (ERP, CRM, web analytics).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-mature environment, collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills able to translate data into insight.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Databricks, Python, or PySpark for large-scale data processing.
  • Exposure to e-commerce analytics or Google Analytics / GA4.
  • Previous experience in a trade-counter or multi-channel wholesale business.
