Location: Birmingham Hybrid - 2 days per week on-site

Hays is working in partnership with a local council to recruit a skilled Data Analyst to support a range of strategic workstreams. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is confident in challenging conventional approaches and driving data-led insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse large datasets primarily using Excel
  • Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI
  • Provide actionable insights to support decision-making across departments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with large datasets
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard creation
  • Ability to think critically and challenge existing processes
