Process Operator Apprentice

On-site, you will be based within our Operations team where you will undertake "on the job" in-house training, with a manufacturing focussed programme, plus some exposure to other departments within the company. Upon completion of training you will join our team as a fully qualified Process Operator.Responsibilities Include:
Adhering to all health & safety guidelines
Safe and effective operation of manufacturing plant and ancillary equipment, including forklift trucks to the required quality and safety standards
Routine batch manufacture
Perform in-process testing of batches being manufactured
Correct filling out of all process company documentation
Adhering to all guidance given by Team Leaders
Maintain required standards of plant housekeeping to ensure safe and efficient working practices for all.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities for the operations process.
All other ad hoc duties as required
The following are required for the role
Minimum Qualifications:Educated to 5 GCSE (level 5 and above) or equivalent standard, must include English and Maths
Good interpersonal and problem solving skills
Pro-active attitude, pragmatic and team player.
Ability to learn and grow in a fast paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Computer literate (including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel) and the ability to use the Company's bespoke internal IT systems
